A couple of years ago one of my reading groups read An Indigenous People's History of the United States by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz and it really was expansive from the East to the West about the relationships between Indigenous groups, the French, the English and Colonists. Even learned some things about Chuck's ancester active in the Southwest!
